The John O’Shea trained Sea Siren has been backed from $17 into $10 at Sportingbet Australia to win Saturday night’s Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Sea Siren will be looking to emulate the success of Black Caviar in the race last year, and Choisir back in 2003.
“On her best form Sea Siren is right in this race,” Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said.
“A few of the main chances have pulled out and Sea Siren is now a firm fourth favourite to follow in Black Caviar’s hoof marks from last year,” Sullivan said.
Society Rock is a $4.40 favourite with Sportingbet ahead of Tuesday’s King’s Stand Stakes runner-up Shea Shea, which is no certainty to start.
