Group One winning stayer The Offer is equal topweight with 61 kilograms for the Rowley Mile at Hawkesbury.
The one-time favourite for last year’s Melbourne Cup, the Gai Waterhouse-trained The Offer did not make it to the big race after running unplaced in the Caulfield Cup.
Trainer Bjorn Baker put last-start Missile Stakes winner Burbero in Thursday’s Listed race at Hawkesbury as insurance against him missing a start in the Warwick Stakes two days later.
There are 13 Group One winners among the 19 entries for the Group Two Warwick Stakes but with a rating of 107, Burbero is assured a start in the 14-horse field.
The final field for the Hawkesbury feature will be declared on Tuesday.
