New Zealand colt It’s A Dundeel is on target to complete Sydney’s autumn triple crown for three-year-olds after a runaway Rosehill Guineas win on Saturday.
A prohibitive favourite, It’s A Dundeel raced near the back of the field before unleashing his winning run.

He made up his ground on the leaders in an effortless manner and then put on a galloping clinic to post a 5-3/4 length winning margin.
“It was a brilliant win,” trainer Murray Baker said.
“We know he’s got that big sprint and he can sustain it.”
Baker, who has trained many top-class horses, said It’s A Dundeel deserved to be compared to his best.
“He’s right up there with The Phantom and Nom Du Jeu,” he said.
Winner of the Randwick Guineas at his previous start, It’s A Dundeel relegated Sacred Falls and Tatrainto the minor placings at Rosehill.
He will now be a short-priced favourite to claim the triple crown by winning the Australian Derby at Randwick on April 13.
