Sheidel has given Lindsay Park and owner Rob Crabtree a race-to-race Group One double by winning the Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield.

Taken to the front by champion Hong Kong jockey Joao Moreira on Saturday, Sheidel was headed in the straight by stablemate Faatinah before fighting back to record her first Group One win.

Faatinah provided the Lindsay Park stable of David and Ben Hayes and Tom Dabernig with the quinella in the Group One sprint, while race favourite Extreme Choice ran home strongly for third place.
