Australia’s feature racing will be run at Eagle Farm racecourse on Saturday were we see the feature race of the day being run in the way of the Group 1 Queensland Oaks for 3yo Fillies.
Much like the rest of Australia there is showers around and Brisbane has seen some rain this week although forecasts suggest that there isn’t a lot of rain due so we may see a Slow track at worst but we could see a dead track come race time.

Race One: Sirromet The Phoenix 1400m Form Guide
Back Me: Sir Moments was super impressive last start when hitting the line too strongly to win an open class 2yo race at Doomben. Meets a similar field here and i think he has plenty improvement in him and should be winning again.
Don’t Back Me: L’entrecote won well on debut although that form didn’t hold up when the second horse came out and ran third in an easier race.
Big Danger: Chosen Idol i thought raced really well last start behind Sir Moments and i think he can go closer on Saturday and looks the main danger.
Roughie: El Toranado is likely to be the leader in the race and if he can get some soft sectionals will be hard to get past in the straight.

Race Two: Mitty’s (bm90) 1818m Form Guide
Back Me: Planetarium will get the inside barrier and have a soft run throughout the race, drops in weight from a good form race at Canterbury last start and looks a big hope.
Don’t Back Me: Trajet has drawn barrier 12, has had four starts at the track without winning and looks well under the odds.
Big Danger: Secret Garden will improve with the extra distance in this race and his last two starts have been very good. Will need a bit of luck from barrier 10 but looks very well weighted in this race.
Roughie: Markout has a very good record over the distance and likes the Eagle Farm track at the double figure odds he looks a good each way bet in this race.

Race Three: Eagle Farm Cup 2200m Form Guide
Back Me: Manighar was super in the Doomben Cup last start and just couldn’t hold on in the final stages of the race. Finds an easier race here and gets in with the same weight, should be able to dictate the small field and win.
Don’t Back Me: Moriarty hit the line too strongly to win the Lord Mayor’s Cup last start but i think in the small field the pace will be slow and that wont suit him.
Big Danger: Lights Of Heaven race well again in the Doomben Cup which i think is the best form line heading into this race and its likely the Moody pair will run first and second.
Roughie: Zabeelionaire was out the back throughout the Doomben Cup but on the line wasn’t beaten too far. Will be fitter for the run and the extra distance will shuit.

Race Four: Treasury Casino Spear Chief 1500m Form Guide
Back Me: Fire Up Fifi looks very hard to beat here, she has been very unlucky her last two starts but has a very good winning record at Eagle Farm. Will get an easy run from barrier 1 and with any luck will be winning.
Don’t Back Me: Tokamak is a very consistant runner who is never far away although this is a very good field and im not sure if he has the class to beat them.
Big Danger: Listen Son has been very good at his two starts this preparation and i expect him to be very solid in this race. Will go froward and be hard to get past. Plus he loves the track.
Roughie: Whitesails did it tough being posted wide last start at Scone. Will go forward again and should get a much better run from barrier 6 and should be in the finish.

Race Five: Channel 7 Bright Shadow Hcp 1200m Form Guide
Back Me: Sharnee Rose was unlucky last start at Scone i thought and im willing to give her another chance here. Will get a good run from barrier three and with Jim Cassidy on board should get every chance.
Don’t Back Me: City Of Song ran well last start although i don’t think that is the best form race when looking the competition in this field.
Big Danger: Bound To Blush was gallant in defeat last start and gets in well in the weights here. Will go to the front and be hard to get past.
Roughie: Tukiyo showed she had plenty of class winning her first three starts at the races. Was tested last start in a classy race and will be better for the run. Drops weight and will improve from the experience and the big odds look tempting on Saturday.

Race Six: Sky Racing Queensland Guineas 1400m Form Guide
Back Me: Sizzling has been disappointing at his two starts this preparation but he loves Eagle Farm and there looks to be good speed in the race which are both big advantages.
Don’t Back Me: Academus is yet to win at the track and yet to win at the distance, finds a good field here and from barrier 10 i think he will be posted wide thus i think he is a risk at the odds.
Big Danger: Complicate hasn’t been far away in any of his runs this preparation, meets a similar field this week as his last run and from a better barrier should go a few places better.
Roughie: Jimando was super impressive with the big weight two starts ago at Flemington when winning. Last start he just plugged away although i think he has enough quality to turn that form around and go well in this race.

Back Me: Dear Demi is simply the class runner of the race. She did it hard agaisnt her own sex two starts ago and was too good. She draws a better barrier here and gets in very well with the weights. Looks hard to beat.
Don’t Back Me: Gondokoro was an eye catcher last start but the tempo of the race certainly suited her. I doubt the race will be run the same and from barrier one she will need a lot of luck.
Big Danger: Kazanluk has been luckless this preparation but can definitely change that on Saturday were i feel she is the biggest danger in the race.
Roughie: Just As Cosmic’s run last start was very good i thought when hitting the line strong. Looks as if the extra distance will suit and could be the horse to run over the top of them.

Race Eight: Magic Millions Qtc Cup 1300m Form Guide
Back Me: Galah’s run first up in Group 1 comapny was huge i thought. Was never on the track and was only beaten 2L on the line. Drops 3kg from that run and finds a very winnable race here.
Don’t Back Me: Griffon was last on the rails when heading into the straight last start and was superb to run fourth. The distance is an issue for him against this class though.
Big Danger: Miss Stellabelle drops 5kg on her last start and has drawn a decent barrier. She looks well suited in this race and should be in the finish.
Roughie: Smokin’ Joey has been very good this preparation and i think he is ready to win a race after some very honest runs of late.

Best Bet: Sizzling i feel has found his race here, he gets back to his favourite track at Eagle Farm and there looks to be plenty of speed in the race and he should be winning on Saturday.
Next Best: Dear Demi is the class runner of the race and she should prove her class again against the Oaks field and claim another Group 1 victory.
Best Roughie: Planetarium has snuck under the raider on Saturday i feel and i think the double figure odds will be taken by race time.
