Winner Nozomi firmed from $34 to $10 and runner-up Preferment $5.50 to $4 for the Victoria Derby following today’s Geelong Classic.
Preferment is now a clear second pick behind Hampton Court, who was also trimmed up from $3.40 into $3 favouritism.
“Preferment will stay all day but he takes forever to get going so Hampton Court still remains the one to beat,” Sportingbet’s Andrew Brown said.
