Pierata continues to dominate the market for the $2 mililon Magic Millions Guineas after drawing barrier one in the 1400m-race at the Gold Coast.
Trained by Greg Hickman, Pierata is at $2.40 to win Saturday’s Guineas with the Kris Lees-trained Sasso Corbaro, who drew 14, and the Bjorn Baker-trained Goodfella (6) the only other runners under double figures at $6 and $9.50 respectively.
If he wins the Guineas, Pierata will also earn a $500,000 bonus for claiming three of five designated races during the Queensland summer carnival.
