Damien Oliver has been booked to ride French Group One winner Vadamos in the Cox Plate 2016.
The Andre Fabre-trained horse won the Prix Moulin at Chantilly on September 11 and is at $21 for the Cox Plate on October 22.
Newcastle trainer Kris Lees will now have to get a new rider for Lucia Valentina who ran third in her Cox Plate lead-up in the Underwood Stakes with Oliver aboard.
