Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au shortened Oakleigh Girl from $6.00 into $4.50 ahead of Sydney filly Echo Gal ($6.00). The only colt under double figures is Nordic Empire ($9.00), he shares the third line with Hawkesbury filly Sheer Style.
Runners who finished close behind Oakleigh Girl have also all been wound in, with Ambitious Blonde now $15, Ruby Soho into $17 and Totally Sure into $17.
And it’s no surprise to see in early betting moves that Oakleigh Girl and Echo Gal are two of the three runners that punters are coming for, with $10 shot Unencumbered attracting the same level of punter support as the top two in the market.

In the three-year-old MM, Sweet Idea has been opened as the $4.50 favourite over Aussies Love Sport ($5.00). Local fillies Missy Longstocking ($6.00) and Enquare ($8.00) are next in betting. Charlie Boy’s current quote is $11.
