Racing Victoria’s chief handicapper Greg Carpenter will announce the the weights on Tuesday, seven weeks out from the $6.2 million race at Flemington.

Last year’s winner Protectionist and minor placegetters Red Cadeaux and Who Shot Thebarman are among the entries.

Fame Game is at $8 in early markets ahead of the Willie Mullins-trained Max Dynamite ($13), winner of last month’s Group Two Lonsdale Cup at York.

Fame Game and fellow Japanese horse Hokko Brave ($15) will be the first of this year’s international visitors to arrive in Melbourne on Saturday.
