Godolphin is continuing to keep everyone guessing which direction Hartnell will head this spring.
The James Cummings-trained gelding was taken to Moonee Valley, the home of the Cox Plate, on Tuesday morning for a work-out.
Following the gallop, Godolphin’s Melbourne foreman David Charles said which path Hartnell would take would be made clearer after he runs in the Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington on September 27.
