Jockey Harry Coffey has been booked to ride a leading early market chance in the 2016 Melbourne Cup.
Gerry Ryan who is the owner of Signoff has booked the young jockey to ride his horse in the race where he is the $17 equal second favourite in markets.
“Signoff is heading for the Melbourne Cup,” Ryan told Racing.com’s Racing Ahead on RSN 927.
Signoff was the best backed runner in the race last year where he finished fourth after gaining a late entry by winning the Lexus Stakes.
