Early market second favourite for the 2016 Melbourne Cup ‘Amralah’ has been ruled out of the Spring Racing Carnival after suffering an injury.
Amralah was on the second line of betting at $17 in Sportsbet.com.au’s Melbourne Cup markets before being removed.
The luckless runner was ruled out last years Melbourne Cup following an impressive Herbert Power Stakes win after an error from a vet whilst a leg injury saw him miss this years Autumn Carnival.
