Tomorrow’s Sportingbet Geelong Cup favourite Forgotten Voice is being very well supported to win the Melbourne Cup, shortening from $71 into $51 at Sportingbet after a high volume of bets.
“In the last two days, the ticket count for Forgotten Voice to win the Melbourne Cup has been double that of any other runner,” Sportingbet’s Andrew Brown said.
“He was $151 for the cup just a week ago and punters just keep chipping away at him,” Brown said.
The English stayer has also been the subject of heavy support to win tomorrow’s Sportingbet Geelong Cup, shortening from an opening quote of $3.60 into $2.50 now at Sportingbet.
Peter Moody’s Ibicenco has eased from $5 to $6 at Sportingbet, while Verdant is $5.50 out to $6.50 and Crafty Cruiser is $6 out to $9.
