Hong Kong speed machine Lucky Nine has emerged as the horse Samaready has to beat in Friday night’s Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley.
Money has come for the international sprinter, who has firmed from $8.00 into $7.00 with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au.
Moir Stakes winner Samaready has also been very well supported and is the $2.50 favourite, ahead of Buffering, who’s eased from $5.50 out to $6.50.
“It’s a crack field of sprinters and the one they have come for, to beat the favourite, is Lucky Nine. Samaready is the best backed runner, but the punters have had a real go at Lucky Nine and it’s daylight to the rest,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
Bel Sprinter has moved from $14 into $13, with the likes of Rebel Dane ($13), Shamexpress ($17) and Moment Of Change ($17) all on the drift.
Sportsbet.com.au will refund punters their bet on the Manikato Stakes if their horse runs second to favourite Samaready.
