Online bookmaker Sportsbet.com.au has Gamblin’ Guru is $11 for the South Australian Derby, but the gelding has received solid backing. Favourite, Order Of The Sun ($4.00 into $3.80), remains the best backed runner.
“Gamblin’ Guru has been in great form winning his last two starts. There’s plenty of punters who think he can do it again because we’ve had serious money for him,’’ Sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson said.
Some nice wagers have also come in for outsider Rednav ($51-$41), who will race on the speed. There has been a noticeable lack of support for Scratchy Bottom ($6.50) and Gravitational ($8.50).
