Australian-based stars Hartnell and Jameka remain the top two in Melbourne Cup betting after second acceptances were taken today.
Just 32 horses remain in the field and Hartnell heads betting with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au at $4.60.
Caulfield Cup winner Jameka ($6.50) is the only other runner under double figures.
Overseas invader Bondi Beach, prepared by Aidan O’Brien, is next in the market at $11, just ahead of Almandin ($12) and Scottish ($13).
