A key 2017 Golden Slipper runner has been officially scratched from the Field this morning which has given first emergency Chauffeur a start in the race.
The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Invader has been scratched on vets advice after suffering stone bruising this week and failed to pass a veterinary inspection this morning.
Invader was a $21 chance with Sportsbet.com.au in Golden Slipper markets.
