Golden Slipper 2016 favourite Extreme Choice has been sold ahead of Saturday’s race with Newgate Farm, Aquis Farm, The China horse Club, Mathew Sandbloom and SF Bloodstock taking up a majority share hold in the colt.

Extreme Choice will now wear the colours of The China Horse Club (red and yellow).

The sale price is was an eight figure sum with the deal set to be worth more than $20 million if he is to win Saturday’s race.

The colt is currently the $3 favourite in Golden Slipper betting.
