Capitalist has claimed an easy win in a barrier trial at Randwick at his first public appearance since he won the Golden Slipper.
The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained colt went to the line in Friday’s 850 metre trial hard held by Kerrin McEvoy.
Capitalist is expected to have his first start as a three-year-old in the weight-for-age Missile Stakes in early August.
