Boom colt Grunt will be targeted at Cox Plate campaign for the remainder of the Spring.
Grunt will be set for the 2018 Cox Plate where he will take on Champion mare Winx with trainer Mick Price ruling out the 2018 Caulfield Cup and 2018 Melbourne Cup with Saturday’s Group One Makybe Diva Stakes winner.
Following the colts impressive win on Saturday Grunt’s odds were slashed for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups where he is $11 and $26 respectively in TAB’s markets.
Breaking: Grunt will NOT run in CCup or Melb Cup. Cox plate preferred option. Underwood, Caul Stks, Cox Plt into Emirates on final day. More on Racing Pulse at 830 @RSN927
