A full field of 20 plus one emergency has been declared for Saturday’s $2 million Doncaster Mile at Randwick.

Star three-year-old Pierro is the favourite ahead of Tuesday’s barrier draw to retain his unbeaten record in Sydney.

Weights have been raised one kilogram to ensure a minimum topweight of 58kg which will be carried by multiple Group One winner Shoot Out, runner-up to More Joyous last year.

Pierro’s trainer Gai Waterhouse will be seeking a record eighth victory in the famous race after equalling her late father, TJ Smith, when More Joyous won a year ago.
