Sixteen horses have been entered to take on dual Cox Plate winner Winx when she makes her return in the Group Two Apollo Stakes at Randwick.
Among the nominations on Saturday are five of her Chris Waller-trained stablemates along with star filly Global Glamour and Godolphin Group One winners Hartnell and Magic Hurricane.
The Apollo (1400m) will be the first of a planned four-start campaign for Australia’s champion Winx culminating in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
