Field of eight for the 2017 BMW at Rosehill

A field of eight stayers will contest the $1.5 million BMW at Rosehill after the scratching of favourite Our Ivanhowe with the expected leader Lasqueti Spirit drawing the outside barrier for the 2400m-race.

The Vinery Stud Stakes, the other Group One race on Saturday’s program, has attracted a field of 13 three-year-old fillies to run over 2000m headed by New Zealander La Belle Diosa.

Victoria Derby winner Prized Icon will not run in the BMW and will instead run over 2000m in the Group Two Tulloch Stakes.

Jameka headed Sportsbet.com.au’s all in markets at $4.20 followed closely by Humidor and Our Ivanhowe at $4.60.
