A field of 17 will run in the Caulfield Cup which has lost one of its main contenders with Admire Deus seriously injured in a trackwork accident.

Marmelo, Johannes Vermeer and Wicklow Brave will be the three internationally trained runners in Saturday’s $3 million 2400m-handicap.

The barrier draw will be held later on Tuesday.
