Field of 14 for Queen Elizabeth Stakes 2016

A field of 14 plus two emergencies has been declared for the $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick which will be run without star mare Winx.

Trainer Chris Waller has ruled the Doncaster Mile winner out of a seven-day back-up into Sydney’s richest race on Saturday.

Waller will be represented by Preferment, winner of the Australian Cup and BMW at his past two starts while last year’s Queen Elizabeth winner, the David Hayes and Tom Dabernig-trained Criterion, will defend his title.
