Imported Japanese horse Admire Deus has been injured in a track gallop and will not run in the Caulfield Cup.
The equal favourite for the Caulfield Cup, Admire Deus was working at Warrnambool on Tuesday morning after being transferred to Australian trainer to Darren Weir.
The extent of his injury has not been determined and he is being attended to by vets.
Admire Deus was the $6.50 equal favourite in Caulfield Cup markets and was on the second line of Melbourne Cup odds at $10 before the news broke.
