Online bookmaker sportsbet reports that there’s been very little interest from punters for Saturday’s Blue Diamond Stakes favourite Earthquake.
The Darley filly heads betting for the Caulfield Group 1 at $2.80 but action is quiet. Second favourite Rubick ($3.20) on the other hand has had punters backing it from every possible direction and the colt is easily the best supported runner.
“It has been one-way traffic for Rubick. He’s had 20 times the support of Earthquake which is just amazing,”
sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
“Earthquake is a gun filly and maintains favouritism. It won’t surprise if there is a move for her later in the week and it starts to even itself out.”
Of the remainder, Chivalry ($8.00) and Nostradamus ($11) have admirers.
