The Group 2 Silver Shadown Stakes Field was released today for three year old fillies and it wasn’t long before punters stepped in to back the then even money favourite Earthquake.

Blue Diamond winner Earthquake opened as the even money favourite this afternoon at Sportsbet.com.au but she has been heavily supported in betting which has seen her odds shorten into her current price of $1.90.

Golden Slipper place getter Bring Me The Maid holds the second line of betting at $4.20 and has also shortened slightly in from her opening quote of $4.40 with all the money on the race coming for these two runners.

Memorial has been kept safe in betting at $7 but the early move has been for race favourite Earthquake who is likely to be heavily backed and start shorten than her $1.90 quote come race time.
