Doss out of Magic Millions Guineas Field

Brisbane three-year-old Doss has been scratched from the Magic Millions Guineas after being found to be lame.

Doss was originally second emergency but was elevated to next in line for Saturday’s $2 million Magic Millions Guineas after the earlier scratching of Sydney gelding Ljungberg.

Stewards inspected all horses who were accepted for the Guineas and 2YO Classic on Thursday and found the Barry Lockwood-trained Doss was sore in the near fore leg.

Connections have elected to scratch him rather than wait to see if it improves.

It means the Liam Birchley-trained Say I See You is next in line to gain a start.
