Dear Demi has drawn ideally in barrier three for her shot at a second classic victory in Saturday’s Queensland Oaks at Eagle Farm.
It is the first time the Victorian Oaks winner has come up with a single figure gate since she kicked off her Brisbane winter carnival campaign with a victory in The Roses earlier this month.
Two of the other major fancies also drew well will The Roses second placegetter Gondokoro landing the inside gate while Express Power drew two.
Just As Cosmic, a late entry for the fillies staying feature after her eye-catching fifth in The Roses, will jump from 14 while Magic In Motion has the outside barrier.
