Racing is set to go ahead at Kembla Grange on Tuesday with the meeting reduced by one race because of issues with a section of the track.
Three waterlogged parts of the course between the 1800 and 1600 metres have forced the 2400m race to be abandoned.
Racing NSW deputy chief steward Greg Rudolph inspected the surface on Monday along with track manager Dave Andersen and the club’s racing manager Michael Craig.
The track was a heavy 10 with the problem area 300-400 metres past the winning post.
Rudolph said he was confident horses pulling up after their races would be in satisfactory ground.
If there is any rain overnight, another track inspection will be held.
