Connections of three-year-old Royal Symphony have decided to have a crack at the $3 million Cox Plate at Moonee Valley.
The Tony McEvoy-trained colt won his first four starts, including two Listed races, before being beaten at his past two including Saturday’s Caulfield Guineas.
The McEvoy stable has confirmed on Twitter the colt will take on Winx in Saturday week’s weight-for-age Cox Plate (2040m).
