Royal Descent sits atop the Caulfield Cup market at $8.00, with imported galloper Jet Away next in betting at $11 on the strength of two impressive Australian wins under David Hayes. Waldpark and Beaten Up (both $13) share the third line of betting, with Fiorente rounding out the top five runners in the market at $15.

It’s A Dundeel, who won the ATC Derby and Randwick and Rosehill Guineas last season, has been opened at $5.00 for the rich Moonee Valley Group 1. Australian Cup winner Super Cool follows closely in betting on $5.50 with the only other runner under double figures being Atlantic Jewel at $8.00.
