Rosehill will host Saturday’s feature meeting in New South Wales with the feature race on the day being the Civic Stakes which we see a small but quality field lining up.
The weather is forecast to be a lot kinda to Sydney this week and despite the tracking being a Heavy at the moment it should dry over the next day and a half to be running on a Slow or better.

Race One: Australian Turf Club Hcp 1200m Form Guide
Back Me: Eurozone really impressed me on debut two weeks ago when held up taking a split late to get up on the line. Looks like he will appreciate the extra distance on Saturday and will be very hard to beat.
Don’t Back Me: Wouldnt It Be Nice has been very consistant but Bull Point beat him fare and square two starts ago and i doubt he can turn that margin around.
Big Danger: Bull Point was super impressive on debut three weeks ago and will go close again on Saturday. Likely to go back in the run and will be hard to hold out.
Roughie:Dalton is one of the more experienced runners in the race and that could be to his advantage on Saturday. If the horses in the market do things wrong he will be there to take advantage.

Race Two: Become An Atc Sponsor (bm79) 1200m Form Guide
Back Me: Mishani Persuader has been racing in excellent form of late and i think he will be better on top of the ground so the more sun we see the happier connections will be. Weighted really well and has also drawn perfectly to give him every chance.
Don’t Back Me: Omniscient has had four starts over the distance without placing and was unplaced at his only start at Rosehill. Finds a very tough field on Saturday and its unlikely any of that will change.
Big Danger: We Have A Winner was super impressive last start when winning by a margin at a Kembla Grange Saturday meeting. Will go back in the run and with what looks to be good speed in the race should be finishing well with no weight on his back.
Roughie: Laughing is a lightly raced galloper who has had her problems although has been given time to recover. Gets into the race with next to no weight on her back with the claim and should run a big race at odds.

Race Three: Atc Membership On Sale (bm90) 1800m Form Guide
Back Me: Iggi Pop was scratched from Monday’s postponed meeting and has been set for this weekend in which he will be very hard to beat. He is coming through one of the best form races which he won and hasn’t been penalised for this run. Will go back and be finishing strongly late.
Don’t Back Me: World Wide won what was a weak race on Monday after scratchings and the sunshine expected in Sydney definitely wont help his chances.
Big Danger: Fulgur has won his last two starts at Flemington in similar grade, will be having his first start in NSW but should handle the track. Will prefer a firmer track and is another horse scratched from Monday’s meeting to race here.
Roughie: Euryale has a very good record over the distance and track. Hasn’t been racing in his best form but is weighted and suited well here and should be in the finish at double figure odds.

Race Four: Tab Rewards (bm80) 2400m Form Guide
Back Me: Arch Fire won a good form race at Sandown last start in heavy going. A drier track wont hurt his chances and he has shown to love the distance in what looks to be a very winnable race for him.
Don’t Back Me: Planet Purple has won his last two starts although i dont think they were very good form races. Has had four starts at Rosehill without placing which is another worry and at the odds im happy to leave him out.
Big Danger: Piazza San Pietro would prefer a wet track which he may not get on Saturday although he is still a quality galloper who will go close in a weaker race like this.
Roughie: Phrases has won his last two starts albeit in easier company. Gets into this race with just 53kg on his back and has shown to have a strong finish on him. Watch for him late at big odds.

Race Five: Civic Stakes 1350m Form Guide
Back Me: Dances On Stars did nothing last start which was a surprise but im happy to forgive that run. Two runs ago he raced Sizzling to within half a length and on that run he will be winning on Saturday.
Don’t Back Me: Said Com has had ten starts at the track for just the two wins. Had things to suit last start and in a tough race on Saturday i dont think he rates very well and im happy to risk him at the odds.
Big Danger: See The World loves it at Rosehill with a record of four wins from nine starts with a further three placings. Should have won two starts ago when blocked for a run and with some luck from barrier 8 will be hard to beat.
Roughie: Mic Mac has had his problems and many would have been surprised to see him back at the races although i thought his run last start had a lot of merit. Looks to be improving each start and at $19 is worth an each way bet.

Race Six: P & F Avellino 50th Ann.-bm85 1500m Form Guide
Back Me: Pretty Pins run well last start in a very good form race and despite going up in weight here he looks to have a class advantage over the field. Should get the run of the race from barrier 3 and be hard to hold out.
Don’t Back Me: Eminent Domain runs better on a heavy track and it’s unlikely he will get those conditions on Saturday so i expect him to be beaten on Saturday and doesn’t look good value at $5.
Big Danger: Eigelstein didn’t have any luck on Monday in a similar class race to this. Wont mind a drier track and with some luck looks hard to beat.
Roughie: Too Hi Tek is likely to jump at massive odds in the race. He has a decent record at the track and at the distance and should put in a big run on Saturday at odds of $51.

Race Seven: Tab.com.au (bm95) 1100m Form Guide
Back Me: Liveandletdie had no chance with the big weight and wide barrier last start. Gets a drop in the weights and gets a much better barrier. Doesn’t win often although this race looks suited for him and will jump at big odds.
Don’t Back Me: Zaratone will again lead the field in the race although he meets some quality competition on Saturday and i doubt he can hold them off late.
Big Danger: Velrosso is a very classy lightly raced galloper who is never far from the winners. Hit the line well first up and races better second up, likes the distance and has won three times at Rosehill.
Roughie: My Destiny is returning from a long break although had been racing in some very good races. He has shown plenty of quality in his career and if he can return to that form he will be winning here.

Back Me: Hadronica jumped poorly and never handled the synthetic surface at Geelong last start when carrying a big weight. Drops 5.5kg here and and from barrier 1 should get a perfect run in transit. Currently at $19 in the market which looks exceptional value.
Don’t Back Me: Cradle Me will have to overcome a wide barrier and has never placed at the distance from two starts and is yet to win at the track from three starts.
Big Danger: Sussuro races best fresh which he is on Saturday and loves the distance. Will need luck from the wide barrier but if he can get a good run in transit im expecting him to be right in the finish which makes the $26 on offer great value.
Roughie: Lisa Lost It drops 6.5kg from her last run and she has drawn well in barrier 8. Will be able to sit midfield and with the light weight will be hard to hold out.
