Champion mare Winx will not run in the Chelmsford Stakes with trainer Chris Waller not prepared to risk her on the heavy Randwick track.
Waller said the delay would not impact on Winx’s Cox Plate preparation and she would run in the Group One George Main Stakes in two weeks as planned.
He said he hoped to give her a gallop next Saturday at Rosehill in preparation for the George Main.
