On paper, favourite Anaheim should relish the drop in class here after taking on the likes of Hey Doc, Gingernuts and Jon Snow earlier in this preparation.
We’re not entirely convinced that things will pan out that way though and are challenging the punters to come after us in what will be the last race of the day.
Despite notching the lone win in 10 career starts to date, Screamarr is a horse we’ve always had a real opinion of and we’re expecting him to challenge strongly here.
While he couldn’t quite match it with the impressive Mongolian Wolf, the horse gave a really good account of himself in the Frank Packer Plate and will benefit from the booking of Jamie Kah.
Port Adelaide Guineas winner Grand Chancellor will represent the strong Philip Stokes’ stable, while we’ve seen some early each-way specking for another of the local hopes in Waging War.
