Following today’s season draw announcement, online bookmaker sportsbet has opened betting on round one of the 2013/14 A-League season.

Sydney FC ($1.80) have been installed as the shortest priced team of the opening round for their clash against Newcastle ($3.75), the Mariners ($2.10) are favourites in the grand final replay against the Wanderers ($3.10), while the Victory are at $1.83 to win the Melbourne derby with cross town rivals the Heart the $3.75 outsiders.

Unsurprisingly, the Mariners and Wanderers hold the top two spots in betting to win the 2013/14 A-League grand final, priced at $4.50 and $5.00 respectively.

Rounding out the top five in the market is the Victory ($6.00), Brisbane Roar ($6.50) and Sydney FC ($7.00), with the remaining teams all at odds of $13 or higher. The Heart bring up the tail at $31.
