Champion trainer Gai Waterhouse has tightened her grip on favouritism for the Melbourne majors with online bookmaker sportsbet.

Waterhouse will next Saturday saddle short-priced Caulfield Guineas 2012 favourite Pierro, who has come in from $1.40 to $1.30. Glencadam Gold has firmed from $21 into $5.50 favourite for Saturday week’s Caulfield Cup.

Seville has been the other big mover in the Caulfield Cup in from $41 to $11, while Southern Speed has drifted from $11 to $15.
