Glencadam Gold remains the $5.00 favourite and best backed runner with online bookmaker sportsbet to win tomorrow’s Caulfield Cup.
Since the barrier draw, Glencadam Gold has drifted from $4.00 out to $5.00 but has still attracted 20 percent of all money wagered on the market.
While some punters stick solid with Gai Waterhouse’s runner, others have switched their focus onto December Draw, with the Mark Kavanagh trained star now the second best backed runner, firming into $6.50, attracting 13 percent of all money.
Dunaden ($8.00 out to $9.00) has attracted 11 percent, My Quest For Peace ($10) 8.8 percent, Alcopop ($15 into $13) 8.1 percent and Jakkalberry ($21) 6.1 percent are the other better supported runners.
“Money is still coming in for Glencadam Gold. Not as much as it was prior to the barrier draw but punters are not giving up on him just yet and he’s remained steady at $5.00 over the last 24 hours,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes.
“It seems the punters have at least narrowed it down to six. With Dunaden, Jakkalberry, December Draw, Glencadam Gold, My Quest For Peace and Alcopop attracting around 55 percent of all the money wagered so far.”
