BMW Caulfield Cup Day takes place this year on Saturday 19 October. This magnificent day of racing is hosted at Caulfield Racecourse in Melbourne, where a full racing program is complemented by fashion events, live entertainment, and fun for the whole family. Caulfield Cup Day is one of the most anticipated events on the Australian racing calendar, with nine events including the Group 1 Caulfield Cup.

Along with the $2.65 million Group 1 Caulfield Cup, punters can also enjoy other feature races such as the Group 2 Tristarc Stakes, Group 3 Norman Robinson Stakes, Group 3 Moonga Stakes, and Group 3 David Jones Cup. The Chadstone Fashion Stakes also take place on the day, with the best in classic style racewear featured in what is a highlight of the Australian fashion calendar.
Six-time ARIA Award recipients The Living End will be performing live this year, kicking off after the final race has been run. Like always at Caulfield Racecourse, there will also be access to multiple dining and hospitality options, including the Promenade Tiered Dining Restaurant and Bernborough Restaurant. While some dining options have been sold out, there are bookings available at some restaurants.
General admission for the 2013 Caulfield Cup is $55 pre-purchase and $60 at the gate, with concession tickets just $35 at the gate. The first race is run at 12.15pm, with the Caulfield Cup completing the days racing at 17.45pm and The Living End finishing off a great day at the races.
