News:

Another Sin has already been thrown in the deep end once and held his head high with trainer Brett Cavanough considering an even bigger test for his second start.

The three-year-old lived up to his part of the deal to pull off a big betting plunge on debut in a Class Two Highway Handicap at Randwick last Saturday week.

There were some anxious moments when Tye Angland on runner-up Lifesaver fired in a protest against Another Sin’s rider Corey Brown and relief when he was unsuccessful.

With that win out of the way, Cavanough has nominated the gelding for the Class Three Highway (1100m) at Rosehill on Saturday and also the Group Three San Domenico Stakes over the same distance.

“I don’t know if we’re aiming too high but I’ll look at the two races and decide whether we give it a go,” Cavanough said.

Another Sin is one of 13 entries for the San Domenico headed by Group One placegetters Pariah and Tulip.

The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Pariah finished second to Catchy in the Blue Diamond Stakes in February while Tulip, from the Lindsay Park stable, was third in the Golden Slipper after she was promoted on protest in front of Menari.

The Gerald Ryan-trained Menari made a stunning comeback to win the Listed Rosebud (1100m) on August 12 and his stablemate Condor Heroes is among the San Domenico nominations.

In first markets issued on Monday, the Luxbet market has Pariah at $2.60 with Tulip and Condor Heroes on the second line at $6.

Another Sin was posted at $51.

Another Sin is one of 17 entries for the TAB Highway Handicap headed by the Todd Howlett-trained Nic’s Vendetta who won one of the races for country-trained horses on July 8.
