A capacity field of 16 has accepted for the Group One Blue Diamond Stakes including dominant race favourite Samaready.

No Looking Back, General Rippa, The Travelling Man, Members Joy, Mama’s Choice, Rusambo, Jimando and late entry Formidable are also in the field.

Four emergencies were also named – Fire Thunderbolt, Mrs Gray, Pronto Pronto and Al Aneed.

The $1 million Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) is Victoria’s premier juvenile race and will be run at Caulfield on Saturday.

The Mick Price-trained Samaready is $2.10 favourite with TAB Sportsbet ahead of Magic Millions Classic runner-up No Looking Back at $9 and Jimando at $10.

The barrier draw will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon.
