Brenton Avdulla hopes to ride at Rosehill despite injuring his shoulder in a tumble at Newcastle.
Ajeeta was Avdulla’s third winner from the first three races on Thursday but stumbled after the winning post, tossing the rider.
He was clipped on his right shoulder by another horse but said he was confident there was no break.
Avdulla leads the NSW premiership and is fifth on the metropolitan ladder.
He has a full book of nine rides at Saturday’s Rosehill meeting.
