Powerful Darley runner Guelph has been deposed as favourite in Blue Diamond betting with online bookmaker sportsbet.
Guelph has eased from $3.00 to $3.50 for the Caulfield Group 1. Adelaide filly Miracles Of Life has taken top mantle, firming into $3.20 favourite following solid backing since yesterday’s barrier draw.
“We’ve had some good bets for Miracles Of Life so punters obviously think barrier one is a big advantage. Guelph has the task ahead, jumping from gate 13, but we expect betting to see-saw between the pair leading up to Saturday,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
While the betting indicates it is a two-horse race, Guelph’s stablemate Metastasio is solid third pick at $6.50 with Thermal Current ($8.00) the only other runner under double figures.
