Leading bookmaker Sportingbet has installed boom two-year olds Earthquake and Rubick $1.85 favourites to win their respective Sportingbet Blue Diamond Preludes at Caulfield on Saturday.

Earthquake will face 10 rivals in the fillies division of the Blue Diamond Prelude including unbeaten Eloping ($7) and highly rated Top Dolly ($8) but is expected to win after an impressive track gallop earlier this week.
Boom colt Rubick will face a full field in the colts and geldings Prelude but dominates betting after a super debut win.
“Punters who want to grab the $1.85 for Earthquake and Rubick should get their running shoes on because I don’t think it will last long,” Sportingbet’s Michael Felgate said.
“Ratings experts have declared these two year-olds superstars off their debut wins and if the money for them in the Blue Diamond is any guide they will be smashed by punters in the lead-up to Saturday.”
Rubick $3.20 and Earthquake $4.60 dominate betting for the $1 million Sportingbet Blue Diamond to be run on February 22.
