A half-brother to champion racemare Black Caviar has sold for a record $5 million at the Australian Easter Yearling Sale in Sydney.
The yearling, by Redoute’s Choice out of Helsinge, has been purchased by bloodstock firm BC3 Thoroughbreds.
BC3 Thoroughbreds last year paid $2.6 million for a half-sister to Black Caviar at the same sale.
