The Grahame Begg trained Land Of Plenty will remain in Melbourne to run in Saturday’s G1 Australian Guineas at Flemington racecourse rather than travel to Sydney to run on a rain affected Randwick track.
Land Of Plenty was a dual acceptor in both the Randwick Guineas and Australian Guineas.
Before the decision was made Land Of Plenty was an $17 chance for the Australian Guineas and a $26 chance in the Randwick Guineas with Sportsbet.com.au.
Land Of Plenty will be Begg’s first G1 runner since returning to train in Mornington after a break from training following the closure of his Randwick stable.
The Decision has been made over night that Land Of Plenty will definitely stay in Melbourne to run in the Australia Guineas#Excited
