Star sprinter Chautauqua heads the 11 entries for the Group One Canterbury Stakes at Randwick.
There are 27 nominations for the other Group One race on Saturday’s program, the Randwick Guineas (1600m) for three-year-olds headed by Victoria Derby winner Prized Icon.
Chautauqua will be stepping up beyond 1200 metres for the first time in almost two years if he takes his place in the Canterbury Stakes over 1300m.
