The Bart Cummings winner Almandin has booked a spot in the 2016 Melbourne Cup.
Almandin was super impressive at Flemington today in winning which has seen his odds shorten from $34 into $15 to win the race that stops a nation.
Owner Nick Williams has suggested Almandin may head straight into the Melbourne Cup following his win.
